FAQ

Before you install.

Is Ad Blocker Premium free?
Yes. Free to install and use, with no premium tier, no trial period, and no features locked behind a payment.
Why does it need permission to read websites I visit?
To remove ads from a page, an ad blocker has to see the page content and modify it. This is the same permission every ad blocker requires — without it, no ads can be hidden.
What makes the pop-up blocker different?
Most blockers kill pop-ups silently — you never know you just lost a download link. Ad Blocker Premium shows you a card with the address it caught, and lets you decide: deny it, open it in a background tab, navigate there, or trust the site permanently.
Will it slow down my browser?
No. Filtering runs on Chrome's built-in declarativeNetRequest engine — the same rules engine Chrome uses internally. Removing ads means less to download, so pages typically load faster.
Can I allow ads on sites I want to support?
Yes. Click the extension icon on any site and pause blocking. Your choice is remembered per site until you change it.
Which browsers does it work on?
Any Chromium browser that installs from the Chrome Web Store: Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, and Arc.
Why is it called "Premium" if it's free?
Because the blocking quality is premium — not the price. There is no paid tier, no upsell, no "Pro" version coming. The name refers to the experience: ads blocked cleanly, pop-ups caught with your input, redirects stopped.
Does it collect my browsing data?
The extension sends periodic usage statistics (items blocked per domain, search activity) and an anonymous installation ID. It does not collect your name, email, or login credentials. Full details are in the privacy policy.
