Ad Blocker Premium sends periodic usage statistics (items blocked per domain, search activity) and an anonymous installation ID to improve filter quality. It does not collect your name, email, login credentials, or payment information. Preferences and your site allow-list stay on your device.
Ad Blocker Premium is a browser extension that blocks advertisements, stops pop-ups and pop-unders, and prevents unwanted redirects. Filtering runs in your browser using rules matched locally against the pages you load. No account is required.
Installation identifier. On first run, the extension requests a random installation ID from our server and stores it locally. This ID is not derived from your identity, your device, or your browsing history — it is a random value used to count active installations and group the statistics below.
Install, update and uninstall pings. When the extension is installed, updated, or removed, it contacts adblockerpremium.com to count installations and deliver updated filter lists. These requests include the installation ID, the extension's version number, and aggregate counters (total items blocked, searches made). Like any web request, they expose standard technical information: your IP address, browser type, and operating system.
Usage statistics. Periodically, the extension posts usage statistics to adblockerpremium.com/stats/, together with the installation ID. These may include: (i) the number of items blocked per website, recorded by domain name; and (ii) information about your visits to search engine results pages. We use this to measure how well our filter lists perform and to improve blocking quality.
Preferences and allow-list. Your settings — whether blocking is on or off for a given site, whether pop-up blocking is enabled — are stored in your browser's extension storage. They are never transmitted to us.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes. The Chrome Web Store may collect its own data when you install the extension — that is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.
Usage statistics are retained in aggregate form. The installation identifier persists as long as the extension is installed; it is discarded on uninstall.
If we change what data the extension collects, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the extension after a change means you accept the revised policy.
